Once your poll is active, Amplifi gives you a live view of how participants are moving through it and how they’re responding to each question. You can monitor completion progress, identify unknown or unmatched responses that need attention, and generate a shareable link so stakeholders can see results without needing an Amplifi account.Documentation Index

Viewing poll results
Open any poll and navigate to the Analytics tab to see the full response breakdown. The tab updates in real time as responses come in, so you always have a current picture of where things stand.Response breakdown by question
For each question in your poll, you’ll see:- The total number of responses received
- A count and percentage for each answer option (for multiple-choice and Yes/No questions)
- A list of open-ended replies (for text and number questions)
Completion progress
At the top of the analytics view, you’ll see overall poll metrics:- Total participants — everyone who has been enrolled in the poll
- Completed — participants who finished all questions (or reached a termination point)
- In progress — participants who have received at least one question but haven’t finished yet
- Opted out — participants who replied STOP during the poll
Unknown responses
The Unknown Responses tab shows replies that Amplifi couldn’t match to a valid answer option. This happens when a participant’s reply doesn’t match any of the expected options for a question. From this tab, you can manually categorize unknown responses—assigning them to the closest matching answer option for that question. This lets you clean up your data without re-sending questions to participants.Tracking individual participants
Switch to the Participants tab to see each person’s current status in the poll. You can see at a glance who has completed the poll, who is still in progress, who timed out, and who opted out. Participant states you’ll see in this view:| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Completed | Finished all questions or reached a termination endpoint |
| In progress | Active in the poll, has not yet finished |
| Timed out | Did not respond within 8 hours |
| Opted out | Replied STOP or unsubscribed during the poll |
| No valid response | Gave an unrecognizable reply twice; question was skipped |
Sharing results with stakeholders
Amplifi can generate a read-only, publicly accessible results page for any poll. This is useful when you need to share data with clients, leadership, or other stakeholders who don’t have an Amplifi account. To generate a share link:- Open the poll and go to the Analytics tab
- Look for the Share or Share Results option
- Click to generate a shareable link
The shareable results page is read-only. Viewers cannot edit responses, manage participants, or access any other part of your Amplifi account.
Exporting poll data
To download your poll data for offline analysis or reporting, use the export option from the poll detail page. The export includes response data, participant statuses, and question-level breakdowns in a format you can open in a spreadsheet tool. Exports are useful when you need to:- Share raw data with a team that wants to do their own analysis
- Archive results after the poll closes
- Combine poll data with other datasets outside of Amplifi
Poll exports capture a snapshot of data at the time you run the export. If the poll is still active, run another export later to capture any responses that came in after your initial download.
